Pork Loin Chops and Apple Cider Sauce
Of all the foods that I enjoy cooking, pork chops are by far one of my favorites. Whether it is bone-in chops or the loin cut or that wonderful add-to-anything cut that is bacon - grilled, pan cooked or baked - pork is always a pleasure. Pork is a staple in my house, and this is one of many recipes I have. It has a short cook time which makes it convenient any time.

4 pork loin chops
3 tablespoons olive oil
salt to taste
black pepper to taste
garlic powder to taste
1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
8 ounce container frozen apple cider concentrate, undiluted
1/4 cup dry sherry
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
2. Sprinkle chops with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and poultry seasoning.
3. Heat olive oil in a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat.
4. Place pork in hot oil, and brown on both sides.
5. Drizzle Worcestershire sauce over chops, and pour in apple cider.
6. Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes.
7. Remove chops to a plate
8. Return frying pan to stove over medium-high heat. Stir sherry into pan, and boil until sauce thickens, stirring frequently.
9. Serve sauce over chops.
